These gentleman have dedicated their careers to Greenfield Industries. We are proud to honor them and thank them for the numerous contributions and commitment they have made.

June 2020
Ray Moring was dedicated and a critical asset to Greenfield Industries. Working in Technical Sales he worked along with our sales team, customers, our distributors, and agents to help with application questions and problem solving. He also worked with our Research & Development Dept. helping implement many new products over his career.
Inductees
George Blackburn
Employment: 41 years, 9 months
Position: He started his career at Greenfield in the sales organization in Philadelphia, PA. He quickly moved up becoming one of the youngest regional managers in Greenfield history. George would become director of sales and lead the sales team through many years of profitable sales and market share growth. His influence on the company was over 41 years and is still today an example for our sales organization to follow.
Steve Burkett
Employment: 39 years, 6 months
Position: Maintenance Steve came up with a prototype design for counting parts in the Pointing Department.
LC Durham
Employment: 33 years
Position: Started as a Beginning Processes Supervisor (which includes departments: Wire Mill, Chop Off, Soft Point, Heat Treat and Turn Shank).
Donny Edgar
Employment: 48 years (Still working)
Position: Started as a Clearing Operator transitioned to a Clearing Setter. He moved into Supervision over Production, at one time he held the title of Factory Manager for Finishing. He was promoted to Value Stream Manager approximately 5 years ago. Last year, Donny transferred to the Maintenance Supervisor role.
Wayne Barnes
Employment: 49 years (Still working)
Position: Started as a Soft Point Operator then moved to a Clearing Operator, Pointing Setter, Assistant Supervisor and then in 1979 transitioned to Supervisor.
Ray Moring
Employment: 34 Years
Ray worked in our Evans, Ga facility and our retired from our headquarters in Seneca, S.C. Ray was superior in his job as our Technical Sales & Marketing Specialist.

Ty Taylor, President, has been with the company since 1977, ten years as President. “Celebrating a decade of investment and growth preparing our Oconee based company for future success. We’ve had $50 million in investments since partnering with TDC. They’re letting us invest money back into the company.”
Charities
Relay for Life and March of Dimes
Greenfield Industries has pride in supporting charties and helping where ever they can. In 2019 with a great group heading our fundraisers our employees and company raised a total of $18,667.33!!! Awesome job.
Retirees
We are very fortunate to have so many employees that have dedicated many years to Greenfield Industries. This is a quick review of some of the lastest people to retire from our company. COVID has not allowed us to celebrate many recent ones. This is a shout out to let them know how much they are appreciated.
