Greenfield Industries Now Part of Top-Eastern Group
Greenfield Industries, a well-known and respected name in the cutting tool industry, is now part of the Top-Eastern Group (TDC), the world's largest manufacturer of twist drills. The company sells drills, taps, end mills, and other cutting tools under the brand names Cleveland, Chicago-Latrobe, Cle-Line, Bassett, Vermont Tap & Die, Putnam Tools, Geometric, H&G, Vers-O-Tool, and Acme Fette.
Greenfield Industries operates facilities in Evans, Georgia; Clemson, South Carolina; Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; and Mexico City, Mexico. The company will continue to manufacture product in its U.S. facilities. TDC owns additional manufacturing facilities in Brazil, Germany, and China and maintains support facilities in France and in the United States.
President and owner of Top-Eastern, Jeff Chee, is pleased to have manufacturing locations in the United States. He looks forward to further expanding the company's operations and revitalizing the Greenfield Industries brands through products and services that are second to none.
Sales support in the field will be handled through agency firms throughout North America. A team of application specialists and account managers with many years of experience selling the brands and products, will work with the agencies to support customers"e; requirements. A knowledgeable, fully-capable customer service team and technical support team will supply prompt, professional service to distributors and customers.
